With the dream and the efforts of Janab. Jameel Ahmed Khan Saheb, along with many volunteers & donors created a dynamic community devoted to developing an Islamic life & Community Welfare in the heart of Bangalore, at Domlur Layout, close to numerous IT and commercial establishments.

We welcome everyone to visit and contribute towards the growth of the community and also the needy people.

About Our Mosque

Domlur was formed during mid 1960’s. There was no Masjid for years until 2013 in Domlur extension and surrounding areas including the famous Embassy Golf Links IT Park, where thousands of muslims brothers and sisters work.

This inspired our President and Founder of the Masjid, Mr. Jameel Ahmed Khan, who is a senior retired Government Officer with over 40 years of experience of government and Social Service, to take his vision and dreams forward of constructing a Masjid and a Madrasa in 2013 in remembrance of his late father Abdul Hafeez Khan in this locality which required a mosque.

There were very only a few Muslim residents in Domlur, when the Masjid formed and gradually the population of Muslims grew along with more crowd coming from the IT companies & commercial establishments, the space became congested to accomodate all the people at once to offer prayers.

Mr. Jameel Ahmed Khan brought together the prominent people of Domlur & Indiranagar have started to gather the like minded people by forming an association called “Progressive People's Trust” and Registered under Karnataka Societies Act. Soon the second expansion soon took place with the active efforts of Janab Jameel Ahmed Khan Saheb and his team of Members, Trustees & Volunteers.

Currently there are 3 jamaats for Juma Namaz conducted on Fridays for the rapid increase of demand for offering prayers in our special mosque.

We are a young mosque built in a location, which currently does not have a large population of residing Muslims, therefore it is more difficult to gather funds. Every bit of your contribution will be directed towards the Maintenance, Expansion, Ramadan Expenses & Improvement of the Madrasa for the children as well as Adults.
